Instant Self-Service Deletion Inside the WokCart App
You can permanently delete your WokCart account and all associated cloud data immediately from inside the WokCart mobile app on iOS and Android—no customer support wait time required.

1. How to Delete Your Account in the WokCart App (Immediate)
- Open the WokCart mobile app on your Android or iOS device and ensure you are signed in.
- Tap the Settings ⚙️ button in the top-right corner of the Home screen to open Kitchen Settings.
- Scroll down to the ACCOUNT & SECURITY / Danger Zone section at the bottom of Kitchen Settings.
- Tap Delete Account & Cloud Data and confirm by tapping Delete Forever.
2. What Data Is Permanently Deleted
When you confirm account deletion, WokCart executes an atomic server-side purge across our Google Cloud Firestore database:
- Account Identity & Credentials (
wokcart_users): Your user ID, email address, display name, password hash, and verification metadata are permanently deleted. - Cloud Household Preferences & 42-Dim Taste DNA: Your cloud-synced household headcount, dietary guardrails, regional cuisine selections, and baby profile settings are permanently erased.
- Cloud Pantry & Meal History: Your cloud-synced pantry inventory and cooked meal history logs are permanently deleted.
- Email OTP Verification Records (
wokcart_auth_otps): Any active or historical email OTP verification tokens associated with your email address are deleted. - Local Device Reset: Your mobile device immediately clears your authentication token and resets local storage back to a clean Guest Mode state.
Irreversible Action: Once deleted, your WokCart account and cloud-synced history cannot be recovered. If you only wish to unlink your current phone while keeping your cloud backup intact, use Sign Out instead.
3. Web / Email Deletion Request (If You Uninstalled the App)
If you have already uninstalled the WokCart app and wish to request deletion of your account via the web, please email our privacy team from the email address registered with your WokCart account:
